Boyd Vander Houwen
Principal
Boyd has 30+ years experience in strategic public relations, employee communications, story telling, community relations, crisis management, and daily newspaper reporting. He is currently involved in leading the agency's push into social media. Prior to launching VHPR, he was manager of corporate communications at Rainier Bank (now Bank of America) and an information officer/editor at the University of Washington's Graduate School of Business.
Heather Reynolds
Account Manager
Heather joined VHPR in 2005 and plays a strategic role in developing and implementinig communications plans for all agency clients. She was also very active in planning and launching the new social media-oriented VHPR website. She earned her BA in Public Relations/Journalism from Western Washington University.
Stuart Perkins
Account Coordinator
Stuart is actively involved in all agency accounts, with a focus on media relations. He has excellent rapport with both regional and national reporters and is thorough and responsive. He maintains the agency website and plays a major role in VHPR's new social media program, including helping clients utilize LinkedIn, Wikipedia and Facebook. He earned his BA in Public Relations from Central Washington University.
